Map of the Victorian Gothic and Art Deco Ensembles of Mumbai—a UNESCO World Heritage Site
The Victorian Gothic and Art Deco Ensembles of Mumbai were inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site on June 30, 2018. At the time I was working for Art Deco Mumbai Trust, a not-for-profit public charitable trust that is actively involved in spreading awareness Mumbai's Art Deco heritage. They advocate its conservation, chronicle its history and photo-document Deco neighbourhoods.

I got the opportunity to lead this design project, ideate and execute a map, as well as manage the release of the event with our team. Our vision for this project was to celebrate the city's architectural legacy following the two waves of urban expansion in South Bombay as well as to help the user explore and learn more about Art Deco.
The map included information about four different architectural styles, walking tours for readers to explore the precinct, ways to identify Art Deco, some watercolour highlights of prominent Art Deco buildings along with information on the urban expansion of the city.
Trustees: Atul Kumar, Shirin Bharucha, Prof. Mustansir Dalvi, Sujata Kumar.
Team: Atul Kumar, Nityaa Laxmi Iyer, Vishaka Bhat and Shubhika Malara.
